Dustin Shannon builds with LEGO because it has become a source of joy and creativity for him. Despite not having the opportunity to engage with LEGO during his childhood due to financial constraints, his fascination with the sets was sparked during a vacation in 2017 when he purchased his first LEGO set, the LEGO CREATOR Volkswagen Beetle Display. Although he didn't immediately dive into building, his interest was reignited in 2023 when he bought the Super Mario Peach's Castle set with a gift card.
Since then, LEGO has become a passionate hobby for Dustin. It allows him to continuously learn and improve his MOC (My Own Creation) builds, providing a rewarding and immersive experience. Being part of LEGO communities like Peach Lug and the Tennessee Valley LEGO Club has also connected him with fellow enthusiasts, further fueling his love for LEGO. For Dustin, building with LEGO is more than just assembling pieces; it's about expressing creativity, honing skills, and being part of a vibrant community.
