​Growing up in Salina, Kansas, my family couldn't afford LEGO, so I never got into the LEGO fan scene. Fast-forward to April 2017: I was on vacation in Nashville and decided to walk through Opry Mills Mall. As I stood outside the LEGO store, something caught my eye—the LEGO CREATOR Volkswagen Beetle Display (Set #10252). Captivated by the set, I decided to buy my very first LEGO set. However, to this day, I still haven't assembled the VW Beetle.

After making that purchase in 2017, I stored the set and didn't pursue building or buying any other sets. But in the spring of 2023, while visiting Knoxville, Tennessee, I received a $100 gift card to Target. I went to the LEGO aisle and bought the Super Mario Peach's Castle set. Since then, I have become a LEGO enthusiast. Every day, I learn something new about LEGO and how to improve my MOC builds. I am now a member of the Peach Lug and a former member of the Tennessee Valley LEGO Club.
